How long did you bleed for after giving birth?
It has been almost a full 2 weeks and I am still bleeding. Not heavy, but I do have to change my pad every 4 hrs or so. Plus I am getting some clots (sorry if TMI). I thought it was supposed to stop by now. I called my dr Friday and left a message but noone ever got back to me.

I think we gave birth the same day, April 2nd? I'm still bleeding a bit. No clots really though. It did get really really light for a couple of days, but today it's heavier. I think I've been doing too much, that's why it's heavier now. I'm trying to take it easy, but it's hard when I have so much to do!

5 weeks then had a week off and got my period at week 6.

I think it was about 5 weeks. I know it had stopped before my 6 week apt. And I just got a period last week but it was very light and had no PMS symptoms.

I bled needing a pad for about 2-3 weeks, then spotted for another 2 weeks.
I had a v del.
Clots are normal i was told as long as the bleeding accompanying them doesn't become heavy.

I bled abt 8 weeks. They say if u do too much u can bleed longer.so take it easy

I think I lucked out because I only bled for a little over a week....but I know a lot of my girlfriends who bled for weeks..I wouldnt worry, but definately try to get a hold of the dr just to make sure.
