How long do you let your baby fuss in their crib/bassinet?
Hi!... How long do you let them fuss around before going to get them? Or do you wait for them to cry? My DD is 11 weeks and is still in our room... I get woken up by her fussing by moving her legs and arms around at 4 am... she doesn't cry, just fussing... When I get her, I then feed her....how long can I let her fuss before I go get her? Is it ok to wait for her to cry?

DD is almost the same age. For me it depends on how long it's been since she's eaten. Like last night, she started fussing, but was clearly still sleeping. However it had been 5 hours since she ate. So I knew she would wake up and start crying soon. If it had been only an hour or so, I would have let her fall back asleep...because she could go longer without eating. But because it had been so long, I figured might as well feed her before she gets into hysterics.
