How long does a bottle of liquor last?
We have quite a few unpoened bottles of liquor that are at least few years old. We got them from FIL when IL's moved OOS. He got them as gifts from coworkers and doesn't drink.
So we took them, now they are sitting in our cabinet. Are they still good, or should I just toss them at this point?

Definitely still good. Most alcohol gets better with age. As long as the bottle is unopened.

Till you drink it
Ok...that was my wise azz comment...The only thing you need to watch out for the alchol to evaporate....but we're talking YEARS....alcohol with a high sugar content could crystalize somewhat too

Unfortunately it isn't. But there are about 5 bottles of regular vodka.

it depends on what it is & if it is opened. Cordials in particular can be tricky

agreed.
vodka/tequila/gin - last a lifetime - and some get even better with time if they're unopened.
baileys/amaretto/other cordials expire and spoil.
