how long does it take to feed your baby?
from beginning to end?
Talia is 6.5 weeks old..it still takes me on average an hour to an hour and a half to feed her - I feel like that is a long time.
How long does it take you?

The whole process takes about an hour - but that's including changing, getting the bottle ready, feeding and burping.
At around 6.5 weeks, Jake would take around 45 mins to finish a bottle. Now he takes a little less time at 16 weeks...sometimes 20 minutes to down the bottle, but if he's sleepy, he can still take 40 mins or so. I just started using the level 2 nipples on him this week.

I would say the whole process would take about an hour...since Ive made the jump to the level 2 nipples..maybe its 45 min.
This is mainly because we no longer fall asleep in the middle of a feeding...and have to wake him up!

If she only gets a bottle the actual feeding doesn't take very long but to get her back to sleep that can be quite and ordeal.
Breastfeeding can take pretty close to an hour but the nice thing about that is that she eventually falls asleep at the breast.

It totally depends. If she's really hungry and wants to eat from both sides, it takes about an hour, but that includes burping and changing her. There are some nights that she wakes up for a small snack - she'll eat for maybe 5 minutes, fall asleep while nursing and I'll put her back in her crib.
