How long is formula good for in the fridge?

How long is formula good for in the fridge?
Is it 24 hours? (for the powdered formula)
I want to make a pitcher to keep to use for mixing with cereal rather than having to make the formula each time.

Yea we used it within 24 hours..I think that's what it said on the can.
