How long should I expect between painting and moving in?
I'm trying to make a timeline in my head. Is 1 week enough time between painting rooms and fully moving into a home? I know it depends on how humid it is outside, coats of paint, etc. We're just trying to figure out when to have friends and family help us. (They are all OOT and will need to travel to help.) TIA!!!!

perhaps i am confused w/ the question but as long as the paint is dry, you can move in.

I'm wondering about fumes. I have no idea how long they hang around. Do they just stop once the paint dries?
I'm 9 months pregnant and we want to move quickly, but don't want to move when it's still smelly.

aahh, yeah the fumes do linger. give it a couple of days w/ the windows open (again, depends on humidity).

Leaving the windows open at night and having fans on, you should be okay, ask the doctor to be sure.

We just painted our kitchen, and with minimal airing, the fumes were completely gone within one week. Within a couple days, they were mostly gone. If you can air it out more than we did, and run some fans, it may air out sooner.

Paint fully dries within 24 hours. There is really no wait time with latex products.
