How long till AF showed for you?

I just had a chemical pregnancy, it started on Sunday, and I was 5w4d.

My OBGYN told me I could start trying as soon as my levels dropped back down, which she said would be after my first period.

I'm sorry if this is to personal, but if anyone can help. How long after you miscarried until AF came? And will my periods remain 28-30 days?

I'm sorry I have so many questions, but when I was at the doctors I couldn't really think of anything to ask, and now of course I have a ton of questions.

My Dr told me after my levels returned to 0, I would get my period, or that it would be about 4 to 6 weeks after the miscarriage, sometimes sooner depending on the person. I got my period right after I had a reading of 5. My levels did go down to 0. It was about a month after the miscarriage that I got my period. My cycles were always 35 days before that, but this period after I seemed to have ovulated ealier than I was before the loss, but still waiting for AF. I'm guessing your cycles will be all screwed up, at least for the first 1 - 2 times.

I know it's hard but........Be patient!

after my chemical it took 6 weeks for AF to come back.
they say anywhere from 4 - 6 weeks.

i still get my cycles every 28 days or in that range.. but they are very different as far as the flow, and stuff. but that was it.

thank you so much for both of your responses. I'm in a rush, but not in a rush to try again if that makes any sense.. I just wanted to make sure that after a few cycles things may go back to "normal", so that I can figure out when I would O like previous cycles.

It also took 6 weeks for my AF to show after my mc.
