I usually keep my cards for special occasions. We saved our wedding cards and the cards we received when Christopher was born. I also save all of my cards from DH. I never usually save Birthday cards or cards for any other holiday though unless there's something really meaningful written inside.

I didnt save my wedding cards.
The only cards I have saved was all the ones I got from DH.

Most of the time, I throw them out a few days after my birthday or holiday. If there is something meaningful written in them (not just a Love, So and So) then I keep them. When I was going through my breakup my family and friends sent me such beautiful cards and I will never throw them out. When I am feeling down, I read them to remind myself how far I have come.

I just realized I also kept all our one year anniversary cards and sympathy cards I received when Hershey passed.
