How many animals can you have before people think youre crazy??
I have 3 kids, a golden and 2 cats (which are 2 adult sisters) They all get along good now. My 2 cats occasionally hiss at each other, but thats it.
I feel so bad that so many animals are being put down. Id love to have a farm one day LOL I think my family would think Im NUTS if I adopted another cat.
I almost feel like when things are getting eary, routine, smooth around here I think... hey, now I can get a new animal LOL am I crazy?
I wish I didnt care what my family thought. I wish I could foster animals.

How many animals can you have before people think youre crazy??
You have a good heart it seems, for animals. I would use that energy and volunteer at an organization, if could spare the time. They need people like you,and you would maybe feel fulfilled.

There is no reason you cant foster! So many pets need temporary homes until they find their furever homes. Fostering is a great "happy medium" as their not "yours" really

My menagerie has gotten smaller recently. I think most people still think I'm crazy with the number of pets I have.
1 dog, 1 cat, 1 rabbit, 4 chickens. I have been fostering kittens lately too but DH is honestly ready to kill me so I have to stop for a while. I travel without DH sometimes and he has to take care of everyone while I'm gone.
I do want a farm, I always have.

If you foster and nobody adopts, you basically are the permanent home...unless another foster home is found.
As far as people thinking you're crazy....I know people must think DH and I are nuts. We have rescued quite a few cats--we don't have like 30 cats or anything---but still. They are the most spoiled, well taken care of kitties ever-who would've had no home if we didn't rescue them- and they show us so much affection---so if people think we're nuts, we don't care anymore.

I have 4 cats and infertility. My cats are my babies  They are the most spoiled cats on this planet, I kid you not ..... and yes I've gotten the crazy cat lady jokes since #3  People can say what they want about .. but I just figure they're jealous

Growing up we always had a menagerie of animals. Goldens, a mean cat, hamsters, an iguana, parakeets, hermit crabs and the ever rotating gold fish... I don't remember family making comments about the number of pets we had... I think it's good for kids to be around all kinds of animals! It teached them responsibility and compasion, which you're obviously already doing a good job of. If you want to get another pet, go for it. I think it only becomes "too many" when you can't afford to care for them or if your house smells like a pet store My mom was a NUT about cleaning to make sure the house never smelled like animals. I definitely remember cleaning out my hamster's cage more than a normal amount.

I'm pretty sure people think we are crazy with out dog, 2 cats and 2 rabbits (we had 3 but one just passed). Oh, and the plethora or feral cats that my husband started feeding. I feel like I live in a zoo.

Most think I'm nuts.. with my DH and 2 cats and 2 large dogs an 800 sq foot condo (I guess they don't get the concept of Dog parks )
And that I'm getting crazier when I get a house, I'm getting at least one more of each!
Let them think what they want... I'm crazier for so much more than the amount of animals I will have!

I have 4 cats and a 75 pound dog. Dh has to stop me from taking anymore in. I wish I were rich and could rescue many more
