How many baby clothes did you buy?
I have started buying baby clothes and cannot seem to stop. This is my first baby and I am not having a shower. How many clothes do you need from 0-3 months. I probably already have close to 25 outfits. All the outfits I bought are super comfortable and practical. Is that enough? Also, how many clothes did you buy from 3-6 months and 6-12 months before the baby was born?

25 is definitely more than enough. For me, my DD was actually in 0-3 for a very short time. She was in newborn until 6-8 weeks, and then went through a huge growth spurt and was in 3-6 months 2 weeks before she was 3 months.
I bought just a few 3-6 and 6-12 before she was born, and only ones that I just had to have and were a decent price. It was too hard to tell when exactly she would switch over, and because clothes are seasonal, I didn't want to be far off.

Probably TOO much! I have avoided nb sizes, as per my dr, but have a few in case he is wrong about the size of baby/
I probably have 10-12 longsleeve 0-3 month onesies, 18-20 short sleeve onesies in 0-3, maybe 10 more in 3-6.
I probably have 15 sleepers ranging from 0-6months...
Anything I have that is 9-12 mths, was on clearance...

hubby has been going strong buying outfit after outfit, onesie after onesie... its really cute
we even have a halloween costume. yep!
from what ive been told, dont bother with newborn sied outfits because they only go up to 8 lbs. if you have a big baby, youll never get to use them...
thats all the advice i have

honestly, i bought 1 onesie. everything else we got from the baby shower.

it really depends on the child... my ds was in newborn size for 3 days, then 0-3 for 3 weeks, 3-6 for 4 weeks, 6-9 for 4 weeks, and 9-12 for 3 weeks.... but i know some babies that are true to size...
while you are not having a shower you would be surprised how many gifts you will get once the baby is born
