3: Family Room (base w/handset), Kitchen and Master Bedroom
We live in a ranch, so we don't have a need for many handsets, but I've been meaning to purchase a 4th for the basement.

We have 4.. I wasn't sure which one to put. Living room, bedroom, office and basement. Because its soooo important to be near a phone for all of the sales and telemarketer calls we get, apparently.

I have 8. 6 are a part of the same "system" and the other 2 are a part of the same one too. The 2 are our old system but we keep one in the baby's room and one in the basement on the chargers in case it rings while we are in those places (the phones stink and don't keep a charge very long). I love the 6 phone one though!
(got it at Costco)
