How Many Days post IUI
Would you consider testing?
Is it pretty much comparable to counting DPO (i.e. less than 10 is kinda ridiculous, 10-12 more reasonable, 14 ideal)?
I have an appt for bloodwork beta at 13 DPIUI but I am reallly tempted to POAS before then. If not for anything else than to have somewhat of an idea before seeing the doctor - I don't want to breakdown in public if its BFN, and if, by some miracle, its a BFP, I'd rather find out privately with DH.
Thoughts? I feel like I am starting out all over again with this IUI stuff...

It's exactly like testing at a number of days dpo. You have your IUI (ideally) on the day you ovulate, and you don't get any more pregnant from an IUI than you would from bd. So testing at 8-10 dpIUI is the same as testing 8-10 dpo, meaning, chances are slim you'll see anything.
If your blood test is scheduled for 13 dpIUI, you should test at home with dh the day before. Use a First Response test - at 12dpo they're over 90% accurate.

I waited, I didn't want to test, I got my BFP in the doctors office and its a memory I will always have!!!!! There's nothing like hearing from the dr that "you are pregnant", I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
By the way, we also waited with the sex of the twins.
After 9 months and hundreds of guess' I delivered  - almost NO ONE said girls, its was so much fun and worth the wait!!

Thanks, ladies I appreciate your answers 
I think I am going to POAS Sunday morning, 12DPIUI, 1 day before my appt for beta. I know this is dark and pessimistic, but if its BFN (and lets face it, odds are it will be), I want to sort of grieve and mourn and cry it out during the day Sunday and not be quite as much of an emotional mess hearing it from the dr. on Monday 
sooo.. sounds like it will be a fun weekend for me! LOL

my doc said 14dpiui. i even told her that my LP is 12, and she said with the hormones from the clomid, i should wait until 14.
but then i guess it also depends on whether this was a medicated cycle.
ETA: just realized that date and that you're testing today. GL!!!!
