How many drs. are there at your OBGYN office
Is it a solo practice or are there multiple drs there.
I mean MD or DO, not the nurses or the office staff.
Curious to know if anyone goes to an office where there is just ONE dr.

Deb I think you know my situation, but just in case, there is ONE OB in the practice I go to, and ONE pregnant woman - ME!!

My practice has about 8 or 9 doctors and a NP. I am not even sure I will see them all before I go into labor.

1. I go to a solo practicioner. However, there is a back-up OB that covers.

There is only one MD in the office I go to. She does have a PA that does routine paps ect.

My OB has been doing it for years and she said it is extremely rare. Not sure if she has just been lucky. She does have an OB that backs her up just in case of a real emergency.

There were 4 in the practice that I wound up with. I personally like to keep with one doctor and hope for the best when its time to deliver.

My dr. has his own practice. It is just him and a NP (in addition to the nurses..) He has covering docs in case of an emergency and he is not available. Honestly, I love the personal attention.

There are 4 dr's in mine. When i delivered there were 2 other patients in labor at the same time. The dr only checks you periodically and is there for the very end. The nurses help with most of the pushing. He went room to room. I didn't even know until later.
