How many estimates?
Just wondering how many estimates do you think you should get for a project?
We are going to restart the process for estimates and I just don't want to call a million people so what's a decent average - not sure if the size of the project matters but for us it's roofing, gutters and siding....

How many estimates?
Usually 3-4, depending on the size of the project and whether we are happy with the first 1 or 2 estimates (I mean, did we like the person/company, think the price was reasonable, did they seem like they were honest etc.) It can really be a pain scheduling estimates and actually having the people show up.
