Public- He started with 19 and ended with 21.
Every private school told us it would be 21-23 kids.

NYC public school = 20 kids in DD K class.
Most grades range from 18-25 kids.

Public in NJ and there are 16 kids in DS class. One class has only 14 kids because people moved mid year.

LI - public school - 17 kids. The school said they allow up to 21 - once they hit 21 in all class rooms they create another K class.

We live in TX, the state cap here is 22. My DD's class has 23 (they had to get special permission for the extra one) so much for caps!

Public in nj- 21 kids. The teacher has told me she feels it's too much to handle without any help or an aide. I feel so bad for her!

Public LI. Cap for kindergarten is 18. Most classes have 16-18. Cap for 1st is 22. But most classes have 20-22.
