I nursed my DD for 8 months and my DS for 2 months. I stopped nursing my DS because he had too many allergies and I couldn't figure out what I was eating to cause the reactions.

11.5. I was devestated that I didn't make it to one year but, I had to stop since I got super sick and needed to be on meds. I was crying in the doctors office as she told me I didn't have a choice.. OVER TWO WEEKS!! She thought I was nuts.. looking back.. I was.

I am trying to go til 12 months, then give whole milk during the day and nurse morning and night until he self weans.

 10 months
 2 weeks I wanted to BF so badly, but he had an awful latch and it was too much stress with an 18 month-old running around and getting into everything. I pumped until DS was one month. I still have a good freezer stash, but he is strictly on formula now.

About 3 months - though it wasn't exclusive. He never latched well so the BM he got was mostly pumped and then supplemented with formula.
I was never able to pump enough and when I would try to nurse him, he'd either clamp down so hard I thought I might die, or he's just see it coming and scream! I was constantly in pain and I just couldn't take it anymore so when the last time I tried, as soon as I started to whip it out, he cried so hard like I was torturing him, I said forget it.
I had wanted so badly to nurse him for at least 6 months to a year.

None. I never produced a drop of milk with either child. Both my mom and my grandmother were unable to produce milk too, so I guess it's hereditary.
I guess on the upside, I never went through drying up, which I hear is pretty uncomfortable.

I think Robbie weaned between 16 and 18 months.. I can't really remember. Noah weaned around 12-13 months.
