how many OZ was your 5 week old eating?
dd is already up 6.... will be going to 7 or 8.
she's 10lbs

I don't remember exactly, but I know he was eating between 32 and 36 oz a day. I think it was 6 oz every 4 hours and an 8 oz at night. But I'm not positive.
ETS: How often do you feed her? maybe she is looking to eat more frequently?

Cailen was taking in 4-6 oz at a feeding, but it took him a long time to even go thru that - he is smaller than your baby though - he is less than 10 pounds now at 7 wks... Now he can down 6 oz relatively quickly - but he has to be very hungry...

my DS was eating between 5-6 every 4 hours. now at 8 weeks he eats between 6-7 every 4 hours

My eldest daughter was eating 6 oz bottles at 5 weeks...my little peanuts were eating 4 oz.

DS is only 4 weeks, but he eats 4 oz every 3 hours (sometimes 2.5, sometimes 3.5) and 6 oz at night and then usually we can get 6 hours of sleep out of him.

My DD is 8 weeks old and she is taking an average of 4oz. at each feeding.
i think at 1-2 months, babies are to be having an average of 20-30oz. a day (6 feeding a day). At 8 weeks, she is eating an average of 22oz. a day.
