How many people were/will there be at your showe?

I feel like my shower is going to be so small. My Dh has like 4 women in his family and 3 of them are OOS.

My family is pretty big but a bunch of them moved OOS also.

I have about 40 people on my list. Is this really small, or average? How many did you have? Just curious

I'm still early in the game to really be making a list for my baby shower...but when I look back at my bridal shower, I had about 35 people there. I felt like it was a nice size. I know I have a few people extra who I'd invite to my baby shower, like some of DH's friends girlfriends and wives I've become closer to since the wedding. So maybe 40 people.

I think it's kind of average, DH & I both have very small families...but you'll be surprised how many people will send gifts anyway! Everyone loves babies!!!

I had about 30 at my bridal shower and plan on having about the same at my baby shower ... one day....

i'm sure mine will be smaller than that. i moved last month (was living in ohio, now in penn), and my family lives in ny. i'm actually really stressed even thinking about baby showers because i fear no one would come because everyone would have to travel .

i have a feeling mine is going to turn into more of a storm then a shower....i'm gonna have to really do some revising of a guest list lol

we had about 50 but we both have large families.

To me 40 seems big.. I mean my wedding was only 100 :) I imagine I'll have more like 20 I haven't even begun to make a list yet but just don't think it will be that big. . I think there will only be like 1 person from DH's side and most of my relatives are OOT so probably won't invite them. . so just a few relatives and friends. .

my mom sent out about 45 invites... i'll probaly only have about 35-40 ppl there

i only invited about 32 I think- much smaller than my bridal shower :)

Mine will be enormous (DH has 40 first cousins!), so I'm envious that you'll have a small shower. I did say to DH atleast we won't have to buy a lot of the things we need on our registry! Most showers I've been to range between 30 - 80 people...Mine will be closer to 100.

We invited 70 we are expecting between 45 -55 ppl.

I had 30 people more friends than family because I have a really really small family. I thought it was a perfect size

DH and I have huge families-my bridal shower was 65 people (I think 75 or 80 were invited-I was surprised so I don't know too many details of that).

My guess is th baby shower will be pretty similar.

we invited over 90 - thankfully lots of people had plans and we ended up with like 65...

I had 62 at my bridal shower--and my baby shower will be similar. I have a huge family--and they all live here.

I invited 40 for my daughters shower. We booked a large room in a restaurant. They hesitantly gave it to us because it can fit alot more and they could make more $$. We had to guarantee 35 in order to get that room. I didn't think that would be a problem. The rsvp was Fril. 8/20. It's now Sun. night and 6 people still have not responded!! I emailed one persons husband, my husband & I both spoke to the other husband.......still nothing! on my son in laws side, 2 of his aunts (one who has 2 teenage girls inivted) still haven't responded. How rude!! Two other girls are cops and don't know their schedules so I have ? next to their names. They'll have to let me know last minute. So right now I have 28 definites. I will have to pay for 35. There will be a couple of men there, so they will get dinners too. I have to order favors by Mon. afternoon in order to get them in time. I'm just so ******, I don't want to order extra favors "just in case" these rude people decided they're coming. I may not order extras and if they call (which I doubt) then I will just tell them they won't be getting this favor and the reason. ( I will be having 2 favors and the other one can be ordered 1 wk. ahead of time) It's a cookie favor. Sorry for the vent. I'm just so ****** at people!

Had about 30 people at my shower.. invited about 45-50. people who couldn't make it sent gifts!
