How many pounds lost Is a pant size
I know it would vary from person to person but generally how much weight lost would mean going down a pant size?
I'm down almost 9.5lbs and while the size I wear now is def baggy, the next size down is just a little snug. I'd like to drop 2 full pants size (and I'll finally be where I was Pre-pregnancy almost 4yrs ago)

I'm 5'7", and for me roughly 10-12 lbs equals a size. But I feel like I drop sizes faster once I've lost the FIRST 10-12 lbs. Dropping that first size takes longer for some reason.
I've lost 19.4 lbs since January. I haven't really bought new things - because I still want to lose about 10 more lbs, and because I have a lot of smaller sized clothes from when I was at my goal weight. But I think I am down about 2 sizes in MOST clothes. I had to buy a dress for a wedding the other week, and I was down 2 sizes. If I drop the other 10 lbs, I think I will be down another size, based on what I've always worn at that weight.
But it does depend on the style/cut, and brand, esp. with pants. Some of my jeans and dress pants are crazy big on me, literally falling off, and others (same size) are just kind of loose and baggy, but still wearable (even though they are the same size as the ones that are falling down).

WW always said 10lbs is a dress size. Now it will vary from person to person but a general rule 10.

I must be weird. I dropped 85 pounds so far and only went from an 18 to a 14. I'm going into a 12 now in some clothes but not others.
So, based on the responses, figure anywhere from 5 to 30 pounds.

I just went down a pants size and I lost 12lbs so far.
I'm short (5'1") and its usually 10lbs for me to drop a pants size.
