How many times a day do you call?
If someone watches your DC while you work how many times a day do you call to check on them? Are they in daycare or is family watching them?

Funny, I was just thinking should I call or not.........I dont want to be a pain or interrupt if they are in the middle of something! My friend watches DS. She used to work in a daycare and did Mommy & Me classes.

If one of the girls are coming off of being sick, I'll call once. Otherwise, I try not to call at all.
If the girls are sick, daycare always calls. FYI - they are in a day care facility.

My best friend watches DS. I try to call once a day but if I am busy at work sometimes I do not get a chance to call. Eevn when I call, sometimes it is just to BS and then we will talk about the baby.

ETA: I work nights so if I don't call by 11pm I miss my opportunity to call. I don't think DH would appreciate a 3am phone call to see how things are going

I usually call my mom once, sometimes not at all but she only has DD 4 hours twice a week and she's usually napping for 1/2 that time.

Andrew's in daycare. When he first started (at 11 months) I called 2x a day. Now it's once.

When DD was in daycare I called once a day in the beginning. After that I hardly called them, they called me when they needed something.

I call my sister once a day. I don't know if this sounds stupid but I just would feel guilty if I didn't.

Same here.
I'm also close by so sometimes I stop by during my lunch hour and peek in on him (it's during their naptime at daycare so he's sleeping and doesn't see me)

daycare--once a day, usually same time every day...

I don't.
I have a combo of family and a close friend and I don't call them b/c I know when people call me when I'm alone w/ DD it's annoying b/c it is inevitably at the wrong time.
they all have my #s and call me if they need me.

I don't call daycare. I try not to think about the fact that she is in daycare. I call my mom when she has her when I am leaving work to let her know if I have any errands or that I am on my way home. My daughter likes to wait by the door for me
