how many types of foods do you offer your 11-13 month old during meals?
how many types of foods do you offer your 11-13 month old during meals?
for example my ds's breakfast is usually: a few cherrios, oatmeal mixed into a yobaby yougurt, blueberries, and usually a bite of something new.
but for lunch and dinner i usually only offer 1 thing. i'm wondering if i should offer a few things like during breakfast.
what do you do?
tia!

if I give pbj, it will be with cheese

Don't forget the protein
We do, protein (can do beans/eggs in place of meat)
carb... DD can make the sign for cracker...lol.
green vegetable/other
fruit
I have a chart that tells me what vegs are high in what vitamins. I pick the vegs for the day so they have a full spectrum. When at daycare, I'll work around the daycare menu.

DS gets a meal. Except for breakfast, he has a waffle at home and about an hour later he has yogurt at daycare.
Lunch is usually leftovers from dinner.
Dinner tonight was a veggie burger, pineapple, cheese and then a cereal bar for dessert.
