I'll probably be out a little over 12 weeks and then I'm going back P/T. They will hold my job for a full 9 months after birth so if I wanted to take longer I could. But I will definately be out through the holidays-woohoo!!

Depends how many I get. If my suspicions are correct, then I get 14 weeks paid, plus will save my 3 weeks for then... so 17 wks.

I don't get paid leave, so I am saving all my sick days and vacation days which only add up to @ 3 weeks, but I figure I will take another 2 unpaid

I'm a teacher, and I'm due in December--so I'm thinking I will just take the last 1/2 of the school year off. By the time I go back in August, I will have been out for almost 8 months.
It will be VERY HARD to go back--but I have a love-hate relationship with teaching, so I'm quite sure I'll miss it.

I have to go back to work ASAP! But, I can take the summer off!! So I'll go back to work, work for a week or two and have most of July/Aug off!

i wanted to take off more time, but i can only afford to take off 12 weeks (any more than that and i lose my health insurance).

I get 3 months paid and I'll tack any extra vacation onto that but then I'm back full time. Baby needs to eat!

12 weeks unpaid with disability. I will have already had 2 weeks off prior to my due date - August 28 - after summer school is over. I was supposed to have 3 weeks but the summer calendar got screwed up because of when the 4th of July falls out. I am pizzed.

I think I will take 12 weeks, I know 3 will be paid, my boss has said she will work something out with me to work from home...I haven't decided yet, but I have awhile to figure that out.

If I have a normal delivery then I will be out for 9 weeks.
If I have a c-section, I will be out for 11 weeks.

I will probably be out for 12 weeks. If my job will allow me to take longer unpaid I will. I am trying to save all of my vacation time so that I can get paid but we'll see. I haven't had this discussion with them yet.
