How many weeks will you be when you start maternity leave

I will be 38 weeks and 3 days...I had planned on working till the end but I couldnt do it..i have a desk job and my back is KILLING ME

How many weeks will you be ??

I'm scheduled to work up until 38wks and 4 days but I delivered DD#1 @39wks and hope to do the same for this one so I'll only have a couple of days off before baby comes if history repeats!

I will take off hopefully 2wks before...if I get a doctors note.

Just started today....37W 6D. I'm taking 2 weeks vacation and then officially starting my maternity leave. But at least I'm home and can finish preparations of my house and heart. Plus, I'm absolutely exhausted and need a long nap in the middle of every day. I don't consider myself whimping out, I think that I'm giving myself every opportunity I can to stay relaxed and healthy. For me that means lots of napping!!!

stopped working at exactly 38 weeks.
Delivering DD at 39 weeks 2 days.

Honestly, I don't think I'll make it, but I am HOPING to go til the very end. I would love to have all my 12 weeks be with baby instead of waiting around for birth since I don't know when that will be.

My last day is wednesday!!! I'll be exactly 38 weeks. I hope this baby comes early because I'm probably going to drive myself crazy...home...alone. I'm planning to be out of work for 6 months!

I am still early but already told DH that he will probably have to come pick me up at work to take me to the hospital

well, since i am a per diem and work at most 2 shifts a month dh decided last week that it was time (i cant reach the sinks which when you work in a lab it is an issue) so i was out at 30 weeks... last preg i was taken out at 33 weeks because i worked alone at night and my ob was worried about me going into labor when i was at work alone and dh didnt like the fact that when i asked what i would do if i went into labor and they told me to wait until the next shift came in... mind you the hospital i work is does not have any form of maternity in it

36 weeks! I am having a month to myself before the new baby comes!

I was going to work until my due date but I couldn't take it. My back was killing me. So I stopped a few days before 39 weeks. I ended up going into labor the day after I stopped working!

I'm still hoping to go as long as I can... I'm increasing my work from home days per week from 1-2 and I've foudn that helps. I plan on increasing it to more by the end. I think they will let me because they don't want me to go into labor at work. They've been very accomodating so far.

My leave also hasn't been officially approved because the people in our shared services HR are morons and although my case opened in September, it took me three weeks of pestering in November to finally get the forms that were needed...

I'm not that uncomfortable on the train or in my office but, the walking part of the commute gets to me.

i left work in my 39th week. DS came in 41st week

I am on vacation next week when ill be 37 weeks and then will play it by ear for week 38. I doubt I will be working at 39 weeks.

With my last pregnancy I stopped working at 39 weeks. Unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy that little time off before DD arrived because she decided to come into the world the same night as my last day of work! LOL
This time I'll be stopping at the latest by 38 weeks.

I planned to work until the day I went into labor, but I decided last Friday was my last day (41 weeks, 1 day). I had extra vacation days, so I used them for yesterday and today and I am being induced tonight.
