HOW MUCH ARE YOU SHOWING AT 13 WEEKS

I am going to be a BM on dec 31 and i have the first fitting for the dress this sat, now normally im between a 2 and 4 in a dress and by then im guessing i will be 13 weeks, since i just got the BFP , now they ordered me a six but will i be showing much by then ? thanks

I think a 6 should be fine! That would have been my suggestion! Cause you really don't know how much you are gonna gain. better safe then sorry. they can always take the dress in, much easier than letting it out.

ETA: I am now 13 weeks and although I am still wearing my regular size, I think in a bridemaids dress the next size would be more comfortable.

I agree as well. I am the same as you. normally a 2-4 in BM dresses. At 13 weeks I was out of the bloat phase so my stomach went down. Everyone carries different though.

My pictures of my stomach are smaller at 14 weeks than 12 or 8 weeks. No bloat!

I think thats good. Although I hadnt gained more than 2 lbs at 14 weeks, I was up a clothing size in pants. At that point there can still be bloating and you would rather be comfy than anything.

I had gained 10 pounds, and my boobs had doubled in size. I was a BM at 13weeks exactly, and had to exchange my dress for one 2 sizes up from what I had ordered.
But that was at Davids Bridal, and I had ordered one that exactly fit me.

Looking back now, I could have bought a size or two larger in clothes but I didn't want to deal with zippers and things not fitting right, so I started wearing maternity clothes at that point. I had only gained 5 lbs. though.

I've definitely gone up at least one size, maybe 2 in the waist area, mostly due to bloating. I think if you are normally a 2-4, a 6 should be fine.

I am 19 w now and can still fit in my clothes, but they are snug, so I use bella bands now.

I must be the odd one wearing a bella band at 11 weeks! But my suites don't offer a lot of forgiveness either and I like to be comfortable at work. I've only gained about 3 pounds, but my tummy feels huge these days.

i was not showing at all at 13 weeks--maybe a little bloat. i did not gain any weight until 17 weeks. every woman is different.

i think you'd be fine with the 6. i wasn't showing at 13 weeks with either of my pregnancies. i'd be more concerned about growth in the boob area than the belly at that point.
