How much cold cuts to buy?
For a family picnic lunch at a winery, I'm picking up the cold cuts meats and cheeses. We have 8 adults, and 1 child who may eat from this. How much would you buy? I already know the types, but not necessarily how much. Overall, there will be cold cuts (meats and cheese) and italian bread, a pasta salad, fruit, fresh mozzarella, and chips. And some easy desserts like cookies, brownies. Thanks!

How much cold cuts to buy?
I think it would be much easier to just pick up sandwiches or a hero. You might have a ton left over which is a waste and they you still have to pack mustard, mayo or whatever people like on their sandwiches.

That would be easier, but we have different issues so that's not possible. (I don't eat pork, DH can't have any type of condiment anywhere near his sandwich, etc. ) So I know we're definitely buying fresh cold cuts

I would probably do 2lbs turkey, 1lb genoa salami, 1lb mortadella, 1lb ham, 1lb of capicolla or prosciutto. Then I would do atleast 1lb American, 1lb alpine lace, 1lb provolone.
Just make sure to bring condiments and a really good cooler. If there are leftovers it would be a shame for them to go to waste.

I ended up doing a pound of roast beef, pound of turkey, .5 ham, .5 bologna. .75 lb cheddar, .5 provolone, and .5 swiss. I knew those were the types I had to get based on what the family asked for. Enough for 8 adults and 1 child for a big picnic lunch, as well as smaller sandwiches for the group on white bread the next day  still ham, cheddar, and provolone left after all that!
