How much did you (or would you) pay for a pair of sunglasses you liked?
Just curious. I see so many people iwth these great pairs of sunglasses and was just curious what people would pay for a pair they liked.

I have a couple of pairs of expensive sunglasses. (few hundred dollars) One was a gift to myself for getting promoted and another was a gift to myself for getting a new job. I celebrate with Chanel.  I LOVE them and they are timeless. Not trendy at all.

I would LOVE to buy an expensive pair of sunglasses, but I always loose them, or they end up getting scratched. I usually spend no more than $30 on them.

I've spent $200 on mine & over $300 on DH's. It was the only way I could keep him from losing them. He's never paid more attention to a pair of glasses.

I have a maui jim pair that cost $200. I got money back from the insurance company for them -- normally I would pay around 100-125. I am hard on mine and I could go through the $10 - 20 ones pretty quickly.

I have spent up to $300 for my prescription ones. For no prescription, $40 - $50 if they are quality.

I never used to but then I read that wearing good sunglasses can save your eyesight and your eye color. Yes the sun can fade your eye color. They also help prevent wrinkles. I bought a pair of Blinde suglasses for about 280 on my honeymoon. DH got maui jim's. They both have polarized lenses.

I usually buy the cheapie ones, but I do have one pair of YSL that I got on overstock for like $70 (they were originally $200 or so) I spend much more money on stuff for DH though.

Unless they are prescription, I am el cheapo with sunglasses- I lose and break them way too easily. Sunglasses are just not something I want to have to be careful with . . . .

i alway break mine so I usually buy under 15 dollars. My last pair was 38, So far so good! I seem to be a lot more careful with these!
