How much did you spend on nursery furniture?
DH and I picked out a set from Mother Hubbard and I'm wondering if it is too pricey?
The crib was $600
The combo was $800
The dresser was $800
Total $2200 for 3 pieces
I'd also like to get the hutch/bookcase...
Do you think this is average or a bit pricey?

Armoire (already owned-Broyhill) - $0
Craigslist changing table and small armoire - $80
rocker (antique from his family) - $0
total for furniture - $380
Extras:
Paint - approx. $120
Knobs - $35

crib, changing table glider and dresesr
but the woman lived in Deer park and that was to far for us to get it

Glider - $200 from my mom
Still looking for a bookcase

for the crib, changing table, dresser and bookcase i believe less than $500 was spent. everything is new and sturdy. you don't have to spend a fortune on this stuff.

It's the Enchantment Line and we got the crib, changing table, toy box and 5 drawer dresser.
It was pricey, but it was the one I had my heart set on once I saw it.
With the conversion kit and the mattress I think it came to around $2300.

crib (gift from my parents) $200 BRU
bookcase (IKEA) around $50
chest of 3 drawers (IKEA) $140
semi upholstered rocker (bought in some antique type store in jersey) $150
carpet - bought beige carpet piece from Home Depot (around 5 ft by 8 ft I think) $40
total that we spent - $380
(we have a pretty small nursery and were limited in what furniture would fit)

Ours was about 900. We got a lifetime crib and a changing table/dresser combo. Our nursery isn't big enough to accomodate more furniture.

I spent over $3500 on my Bellini furniture 4 years ago.  I plan on using the dresser w/ bookcase and armoire for a LONG time!! I'll give my crib and glider/ottoman to my sister when my 2nd is done with it.

We spent about 1600 on Baby's Dream furniture- dresser/hutch and convertable crib.
$$$$ but it's made very well and rated an A in Baby Bargains.

Changing Table: gift from a family friend
Low Dresser: gift from a family friend
Armoire: had already
So, we paid $32 for our nursery furniture, we were very, very lucky
