How much do you pay at the hairdressers?
And what do you usually have done?
I usually get a trim, and highlights. I pay about $100.

same here... after tipping, I pay upwards of 300.00 per visit (cut, highlights, blowout - I have really thick hair, and product - shampoo/conditioner for color treated hair)

I don't know, I am thrifty but I spend $60 on a haircut. I went to those places back in my days of genteel poverty  and I think you get what you pay for. For me $60 is worth knowing that I won't walk out with a mullet.

ugh....sore subject for me. i've really paid very little to a lot....from $30 to a haircut to $300 for highlights. and you know what....(at least in my experience)...I can't see a huge diff in price vs. quality.

i use to spend about $110 at Ouidad for a cut
$65 for deep treatment
$150 for color
and about $100 for products
 All that in 1 visit!!! now that I have 3 kids, I go to Cactus and soend $35 I'd rather spend the money on stuff for my house and on the kids. Things change.
I use to even meet a friend for lunch after spending all that in the city, if that was now I'd have to walk across the 59th street bridge since I;d have no $ left for train fare

when i get a glaze or colorance- $40
sometimes i get a full head of highlights sometimes its a half. If its full, it costs more..
this is not including tips...

I used to spend about $90 but I am going to a new place on Wed & its going to be more I think about $140. Who would have thought that to get your hair done in VA would be more than NY. I hope he does a good job.

gosh, i havent gone in so long. and when i did it was a friend so i got friend prices.
my mom goes to a woman on LI, i forget where exactly..... anyway, she is so cheap! she colored my hair and cut for $40!!!!!! i was in shock! (although i brought my own dye)

I used to pay $45 in Manhattan, but my office moved, I can't find any salons in that range near me in Westchester.
My mom pays something like $60 for a cut & single process color & I was shocked! What a deal!

I've never gotten anything done to my hair except for a cut and blow out.
I go to Hollywood Salon & Spa in Miller Place and my cut is $35.
