How much do you spend weekly on pet food?
For our dog, Boxer breed with skin problems, we spend $100 every two weeks...for dry and canned food.

I cook only natural foods for my two dogs every week. Cost is about $10 per week. (ground turkey, oatmeal and mixed veggies etc.)

About $80.00 a month. We get all natural food for them and then porter needs prescription food as well for his colitis so it's about $40 each bag.

We get Katie a 40lb bag of dry food that lasts at least 2 months. I think the bag costs about $20.
Treats and toys thats a different story..

not exactly sure now that we just added a third doggie to the family. i'll tell you next month but they all eat different dry food (o'malley gets eukanuba sensitive skin, jameson gets eukanuba active and finnegan gets eukanuba puppy) and omalley and jameson both eat beneful wet food and finnegan eats cesars puppy wet food. all i know is that i spend more money on them than i do for myself. its crazy

$60 to $70 for my 2 cats
2 bags of dry food
treats
2 cans of wet food a day (the small ones) so that's 60 times .75 = $45 (they only eat the new fancy feast- which when I read the label outloud sounds like human food)

3 dogs;
42 lbs
75 lbs
54 lbs (and still growing) pound
Iams-40 lbs bag every 2 weeks-$40
Pedigree wet food 2 boxes every 2 weeks - $12
Moist and Meaty to switch things up sometimes - $8 (bos of 12 1x a month)
Treats- $20-$30 (from Petco pet bar 1x a month)
$8 for a box of milkbones a month
Ice cubes-free
WOW-yea I think I'll be making my own lunch from now on...
hope they realize how lucky they are...

Wowsas that's a lot of money.
I feed my dog (8 pounds) dry and canned food.
I buy the 20lb bag of dry food for $11-$12 on sale which lasts maybe 4 months and 1 can of food is 59 cents and lasts for 1 week.
what is that.... $1.27 a week
For the cat I buy a 5lb bag and canned food. I forget how much a bag costs.(I've only had to buy one since we got her).

For Misty (dog) we spend $25/month on dry dog food and $10/month on a box of Milkbones. Plus an occasional treat or toy each month - maybe another $5
For Espresso (cat) we have to buy Prescription wet cat food which is $62/month and then occasional treats at $5......
who knew the 10 pound cat would end up costing more to take care of than the 60 pound dog....

Alot. It makes me feel better not to keep track. Jack eats those little Fancy Feasts Medleys cause that was all Molly would eat. I might switch him now cause they are $$
