How much do you think stress plays a factor when TTC?
I ask because it's been a rough go at work the past couple of weeks. Just when things start to turn the corner, another "small fire" errupts.
It's tough balancing the stress of everyday life on top of TTC. It's viscious circle b/c the more I think about the added stress I've been under, the more stressed I get thinking this can't be helping the road to baby either.
I even came home from work and had a smoke and beer, which I literally never do...not good esp during the 2ww...
How do you ladies deal?

I totally believe it doesnt help at all....I am so sick of people telling me to "relax"....but just think when we are extremely stressed our periods get all screwed up so im sure it can play a hand in ovulation....Im sorry your sooo stressed lately,

I do think it plays a big role. I know that around Christmas time I was so stressed out with shopping & upset bc it was my first Christmas not spending with my parents (they had moved) & low & behold, I got a +OPK but I ended up delaying my O 2 weeks & got AF in 47 days!!!  I learned from that point on that the more stressed I get myself, the more likely I will have a late O & then AF.

I definitley think it plays a big role.
Last month was my first cycle TTC and we currently have a lot of stressful things going on in our lives right now. Sure enough, AF was 3 days late and that rarely ever happens to me.

stress can screw up our cycles by causing them to O late and get AF late...

I definitely think it can play a big role, depending on the situation. I'm so sorry you are having a tough time! Hang in there and try to find some de-stressers!

I definitely think stress can affect fertility. It can throw off your cycle and cause you to O early and/or late. It just messes up mother nature.
Try to relax. Keep yourself busy to get your mind off of it.

Thanks girls. Thank G tomorrow is FRIDAY!!! It's been a week from you know where...
Part of is good, because my mind is completely off TTC and whether "this is it" when I am at work, but then again, the stress is killing me.
I wish I didn't care so much about an ***** job sometimes!
