Stress of TTC Vent
I feel so anxious right now I can't take it anymore.
I'm going to keep trying, but not actively. All this temping and OPK's I think are more trouble than they are worth.
I was just speaking to this woman I work with. She says that stressing out over these things is so counterproductive. I can't stand not having control, but I think I need to listen to her advice. I try to think of other things, but when my 2WW is drawing to an end I make myself sick. It's so ridiculous!!! And to add to everything DH's cousin just got pregnant which makes me even more anxious.
My problem is my cycles aren't even normal. It's not as simple as BDing in the middle of my cycle and hoping for the best, because that could just be the beginning of it. I could be BDing around CD14 and Oing on CD27 or 31.
I'm so aggravated!!! Hopefully I'll get a BFP on Saturday. If not, I'm gonna have to take a break from all this.
Does anyone else feel like this??

I have a problem called recurrent pregnancy loss. I have lost more than one pregnancy and trust me the stress did not keep me from getting pregnant. What are your cycles? If your cycles are extremely irregular, there may be a hormone problem. Stopping using OPK's and temping will NOT help with stress if anything you will be leaving your self in the dark. How long have you been trying? You can look into accupuncture. have you asked your Dr for CD3 bloodwork? I personally don't temp because I am on progesterone and it increases you temp.

Re: Stress of TTC Vent
You are not alone!! It's frustrating, and is just starting to get to me, been trying for 7 long months now and nothing.... I know some people may say that it's not that long, but for me it's an eternity!! Everyone says the second you stop "trying" it'll happen... well how do you stop when you're consumed with it 24 - 7?!?!?!?!!?
Good Luck!!

It is a terrible thing to stress about because its supossed to be such a happy thing. Kind of reminds me a little of wedding planning. But I wanted to say good luck and hang in there! And vent away whenever needed!

This is my 4th month actively trying. I'm getting towards the end of the 2WW. Maybe I should go to the doctor and find out what's going on with my cycle. This month will most likely be 39 days, last month was 28 days, the month before 35.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Stress of TTC Vent
Take it one month at a time. It sounds like you need a break for next month. Decide later whether to take a break for more than a month. You haven't been trying for very long, but it only takes one stressful month sometimes to make you feel like the stress is too much.

I feel like this all the time. I just started the 2ww in our 6th month. We are both stressed and I do think it plays a significant role. Like you, I feel charting and temping would be more trouble than its worth and I will more than likely not do so in the future. We would be BDing on the same days anyway(as per doctors instructions), so IMO it makes no difference. We have an appointment to see my doctor. I wish I had the luxury of a few more years but I dont. Otherwise, I would take a break.
