How much does a 4 week old eat??
DS will be 4 weeks and he has been eating so much, he's up to 6 ounces at some feedings  Is that normal? He's like a little eating machine

When DD was that age, I think she ate 2-3 ounces every 3-4 hours

Yikes, he is eating so much more!! I think I'm going to keep him at 4oz and if he seems really hungry I'll give him extra.

Emerson is 1 month old today and she eats 3oz. every 3 to 3 1/2 hrs. Sometimes she will take 3 1/2 oz but not often.

DD is 6 weeks old and eats 3-4 oz every 3-4 hours.
He might be going thru a growth spurt...

DD is 4 weeks old and takes 4 oz. of breastmilk (I pump) every 2-3 hours...

Every baby is different. If that's what he's eating, I wouldn't cut back. Then you'll have a starving baby on your hands.

My daughter is eating 3-3 1/2 ounces every 2-3 hours....and I may raise it a little bit..because she seems to want some more...at certain feedings...if your baby is good with 6 oz...I would leave it like that...
