How much does a new bathroom cost?

We live in a 3 bedroom, 1 bath ranch. We have room for 2 sinks so it is not a very small bathroom.

I spent around 8K on mine. we spent a lot on the tiles which are floor to ceiling and good quality.

I would venture to say around 10 thousand. The double sink is a good amount. Add in tile, the labor, fixtures and set aside another $1-2 thousand for unforseen problems.

When we redid ours, we gutted it and when we did there was a ton of water damage so it cost us a bit more b/c we had to replace almost all the wood.....

Depends on whether you do the work or hire a contractor...

We are going to be doing ours and all the materials are about $5K (not including counter tops as we havent priced those yet). This is pretty much everything, faucets, shower head, tub (deep soaking NOT jacuzzi), tiles from Cancos, Kraftmaid double vanity, with Linen closet and shelf unit, sheet rock, etc.
