How much does it cost to redo a kitchen???

We may need to do this in the next year or so. Cabinets are really outdated and we are finding that we don't have that much space. Also if you have recently had your redone....who did you use???

I guess it really depends on what you get. My parents got all new cabinets and sheetrock lighting granite counters. It was about 20,000

They kept all their appliances.

We would want all new cabinets, counters..probably not granite and new appliances

It all depends. We had our kitchen gutted and it cost about $30,000.

hey k-

when we priced ours, including gutting and taking down a wall, it would have been around 40K.

or me, you, your DH and my DH could do it for a fraction of that cost.

I spent a buttload of money doing mine up, I love it, its gorgeous...but next house I am doing Ikea (like Beth did) and saving myself some money. Ikea have some gorgeous kitchens!!

Pending on how handy you and your DH are you can do the title floor yourself...not too hard, we researched and priced you can save a ton of money
However, we are not handy when it comes to cabinets and I want granite countertops so I guess we will wait for those till after the baby but DIY runs 7-10,000. Having the whole thing done by a contractor about 20-30 depending on what you want done.
