How much formula does your 8, 9 or 10 week old drink?

DS takes 5 ounces bottles every 3-4 hours. His last bottle of the day is usually 6 ounces

I am afraid I am overfeeding him, is that possible. He is such a chunker right now!! lol


He slept through the night 3 times last week but hasnt since.

Our DS is 10 weeks and takes 5.5-6oz every 2.5 - 3hrs if awake. If he naps after a feeding sometimes that will extend to 4hrs (doesn't happen often ).

He was born 11lbs 4oz and is currently 17lbs. Also he has yet to sleep through the night.

DD is 8 weeks old - she takes a bottle of 3 parts breastmilk one part formula (usually 4-5 oz. total) every 2-3 hours - lots of times doesn't finish the whole thing...

She takes a 5 oz bottle of just formula around 10 pm, usually wakes at 4 am for another...

She slept longer at night at 4 weeks than she does now!!!!!

My ds is 12 weeks now, but he's been taking 5 ounces at a time for 4 weeks now. So i think it's fine.

DS is 12 wks and takes 7oz at each feeding - every 3.5 hours

I had him at 5.5 oz at 10 weeks and the ped told me he can take between 6-8oz now.

So I think you are doing just fine!
