How much milk does a 3 month old typically drink per day?
I'm trying to figure out how much breastmilk I need once I go back to work.
Even though my maternity leave doesn't end until July, it makes me really sad to think that I will be leaving DS to go back to work.

DS started daycare at 3.5 months old. I nurse him around 7 a.m. He's in daycare from 8:30 until 6ish. He eats every 3-4 hours. I prepare three 4-5 oz bottles. I also bring an extra 2 oz bottle just in case he's hungry after the 4-5 oz bottle. He has been in daycare since the beginning of the month and hasn't needed the extra bottle yet. Typically, BF babies do not need more than 4 or 5 oz of BM at a time for the first 6 months.

Totally depends on teh baby, I don't know that you can plan ahead in that regard.
My DS was formula fed, but he only took like 3-4oz at a time.

Not sure about BF but Alexa is almost 3 months and gets 6 1/2 oz every 4 hrs.
