How much milk/liquids does your almost 2 yr old (or newly 2 yr old) drink per day?

Just wondering what is the average amount of milk and then how many add'l oz they are drinking per day and of what. My DD is 23 mos. THANKS!

Not sure of the exact number, DD is 20months, she has a sippy cup of milk in the morning, lunch and night...in between she has about 2 cups of water-however, I must stipulate that she doesn't always finish all of them except the morning milk.

My DS still takes at least 3 8oz bottles of whole milk a day. I am trying to break away from the bottles and only give at nap and bed, but if it was up to him he would have 4-5 bottles a day. We have not found a sippy cup that he will drink milk from yet. He actually throws it at me when I try. I don't know if I should or .

At that age my DD drank around 18 oz a day of 2% milk, and about 8 oz a day of water/juice mixture.

She gets about 20 OSS of milk, 2 sippys, doesn't always finish. Throughout the dAy she always has a water sippy that I refill a few times. I would say total 30 Ozs water offered.

Dd is 19 mo the and lives water. Every once in a while I give her the Ferber juices b/c we have them.

DS drinks around 22oz of milk a day plus 10oz of water.

DD is 18 months and we were told at her 12 month appointment no more than 21 ounces of whole milk a day . So she gets 3 7 oz cups of milk a day - one per meal

10-16 oz of whole milk and i would say 3-5 sippy cups of water (sometimes with a splash of juice).

Wow, I really don't think DD drinks enough liquids!!!! She'll be 2 next month and has a 7 oz cup of milk a day (she's not a huge fan) and then a 7 oz cup of juice/water mix....She has it available to her during the day, but doesn't seem to want it. Should I be concerned?

This thread makes me feel better...

My almost 2yo son drinks 3 8oz bottles of milk a day. He, too, throws the sippy cup at me if I try to put milk in it. I know he won't be drinking milk out of a bottle forever, but I can't seem to get him away from the bottles.

At what age did your kids kick the bottle habit? I tried to push the issue over the holiday break, but he's clearly not ready yet.

My almost 2 year-old still has one 8 oz bottle of milk when he first wakes up. He has a sippy of water available all day and at meals. I'm not really sure how much he drinks total but the sippy gets refilled a few times.

my 22 mo old has 5-6 oz sippy of milk at morning, noon & evening. plus another 5-6 oz/ sippy of water and/or water/juice combo, about twice daily, sometimes more sometimes less.

DS is 26 months and can drink 2 cups of whole milk in the morning and then 1 in the afternoon. I don't really monitor it anymore, just give it when he asks for it.

too much milk! he loves it. I would say 24 oz of milk, and the rest water or water splashed with juice.

DD is 26 months and her milk intake has just recently dropped in the last month or so. Before that she was getting around 15-20 oz a day. Now, she is only taking 8-12 oz a day. She drinks about 2 or 3 sippys of water during the day as well.
