how much on a gift card for teacher...
how much would give for end of year gift?
I was thinking of Starbucks gift cards for dd's 2 teachers. She's been there since January. I was going to do a little mug giftcard "thanks a
"latte" gift.
I was thinking $30 for the g.c.
I am donating $40 today for their teacher appreciation gift.

I did $25 but we live in VA right out of DC. That seems normal down here.
If we were in NY, I would probably do $50.

Whoa! I used to teach preschool and I can tell you that even $25 is VERY generous, at least where I worked. Most gifts were in the 10-15 dollar range, and many parents didn't do gifts at all. Honestly, a heartfelt thank you card was always most appreciated.
