How much should I offer to pay?
One of my neighbors, who I've become friends with, just lost her job, she mentioned to me that she is going to be looking for a babysitting/nanny position offering $15-20/hour .
I told her that I could use her for a few hours here and there. She went on to say that she felt bad taking $ from me etc. etc. I told her that was ridiculous and to name her price. She of course said to give her what i think is "appropriate".
Most times, it would be to watch 2 out of 3 kids, every once in a while all 3, and sometimes to go with me somewhere with all 3 kids.
How much should I give her?

Just to clarify, she is going to get $15-20/hr from other people?
If that's the case, I don't think you can offer her any less than $12/hr.

I think $15 an hour is fine, especially if she's just tagging along with you to help. If you think it's been a particularly tough day you can throw her some extra and maybe if you eat out when you're running errands with her then buy her meal.
