How much tip on a $40 haircut
Going today, for a wash, cut and blow out. Not sure how much to tip. I just switched places, and don't want to overdue it with the tip. The last place I went to was very expensive so I would give a very very generous tip. ( The last straw was the owner was nasty to me because I told him his toilet was running and flushing with no one in there, and I told him very nicely about it, ,maybe he was having a bad day, but don't take it out on a good customer.)

I give $10 on a $40 bill. But, my hairdresser is also the one who washes my hair.
And whoa about the owner at your old place...Sounds like a jerk.
