How much to tip movers?
We're moving from one house to another, in the same town, on Thursday. I estimate it will cost about $1000. They charge $108 per hour and my guess is that it will take anywhere from 7-10 hours. Three guys and one driver.
How much should I tip each person?

We had never used movers before and so we went with 30-40 each.

Our movers were fast an careful so hubby tipped the main guy 50 and the others 30...the main guy is the one who kept the light lit under the others butts.

The movers we used took time off the clock and told my DH what to tip them!

i ASKED THIS QUESTION WHEN i MOVED FROM A 2 BDRM APT AND EVERYONE TOLD ME 25 EACH PERSON. i GAVE 60 FOR 2 GUYS.
