how much to tip newspaper delivery?
DH and I just got our first newsday bill, how much is appropriate to include as a tip on the bill for the delivery guy? (this would be for 8 weeks of delivery). TIA!

I just started delivery today and asked around for what others tip. I've heard $2-3/week.
I'd be curious to hear more opinions.

I honestly haven't tipped in years except for Christmas. The newspaper is billed directly to my cc so it's not like they come around and collect any more. Quite frankly, I have no nidea who delivers my paper - it's not like when I was growing up.

I tip $8 for every two month period. We've always had really good people delivering our paper - wrapped in plastic when it's raining, always deliver early in the AM no matter what the weather including heavy snow.

I pay my FIL's bill, and add $5 to it for a tip.
I don't do anything extra at Christmas though, because I tip all year.
I get the Times, and only tip at Christmas. I never get asked during the year.
