How often do you bathe your dog?

I wash my dog every 2 weeks but I push it to that. His coat get so brittle and gross feeling. After I deep condition him he feel so silky & soft.

Also on some weekends when I'm forced to pull 16 hr shifts I drop him at my Moms. I hate to do this but he can't be alone. She burns wood fires and her house smells like a camp ground. She also lets Dallas run in around in her giant yard & dig in dirt. He always comes back filthy & gross.

My vet recommended no more than once per month. I actually go much longer better bath. Like several months. I do my own grooming with trimmers. I like their coat much shorter. Much easier to maintain clean!

About every 4 weeks.

probably every two months, sometimes longer but i brush his fur at least once a week if not more

every 4 to 6 weeks. my dog has dry hair so washing him makes him drier. he is a small dog that gets into thing and he likes to dig so he needs it.

Right now, every day to every three days!

We are still working on housebreaking with him and he has very long silky hair. He ALWAYS smells like pee.

I am taking him once he gets his shot to get completely buzzed until we get the housebreaking under control.

Once a month.

Every 1-2 months. I have a boxer, so his hair is really short and he rarely ever smells, unless he is rolling in something nasty in the backyard. lol

our vet told us that lab's dont need to be bathed all that often.... we've had hershey for a year and we've given him maybe 3 baths.... he never really smells unless he gets into something

she also said that if we bathe him too much, he will get dry skin

In the summer I do it every weekend or every other weekend but in the winter I do it about 2 times for the whole season.

About once a mth. Once at the groomers, then the next month we do it. I wish I could do it more often but it's a PIA and it's a two person job. Plus they just hate it.

in the winter really only when needed, maybe twice the whole season. In the summer maybe once a month unless we take him into the ocean(then we bath him when we get home). Bathing any more than that will create dry skin and our pup will get visible flakes.

My dog has sensitive skin/skin allergies so we were told not to bathe her too often. We probably average about once every other month at most. I do use sensitive skin/all natural baby wipes to clean her off in between though if she had gotten dirty outside.

We got out dogs professionally groomed every 6 weeks and bathe them once in between
