How often do you bathe your newborn?

I think (cause I don't remember - due to mommy brain) - we gave DD a bath every other day

We made a bath part of our bedtime routine at about 8 weeks, so we bathed him every evening.

We still do it before bedtime, we all love it.

She's had 2 baths since her stump fell off 10 days ago- and they were due to shatting through her diaper and up her back.

I do wipe her neck and face every day because she's always got breast milk on her. At this point, she doesn't have much of a chance to get grimy (well, except for the exploding diapers).

Her umbilical cord is still on so we give her sponge baths, but she tends to get stinky quickly so we give her one everyday.

We do every other day too. Although if he falls asleep early we don't wake him for a bath.

We were so bad in the beginning... but now we do one every other day, or every 3rd day too. Trying to get into a bedtime routine. She does get stinky in the neck area, so I just usually wipe that down with a wipe on our non-bath days.

every night- I find it helps her go to sleep and sleep longer

In the beginning, like the first two months, every third day. We'd wipe her down every night with a wipe, though. Now, we've gone to every other day, but in since it's summer, more like everyday. I really feel like it's so drying to her skin, though.

I give DS sponge baths every other day and i wipe his face and neck everyday. His stump just fell off yesterday so I am going to start giving him baths.

We have always bathed her every other day, however in the summer we do it more because of the sunblock and chlorine in the pool.

We try to do every night, because it really relaxes him ( we are going to start to make it a routine) but there have been times when we have gone 2-3 days.

Until her stump fell off, we would sponge bath her every night. Since her stump fell off, we've given her a bathe everynight - she loves it and it makes her so happy. I put a ton of lotion on her though so her skin doesn't dry out.

Don't worry - at 1 mt I rarely bathed him! Maybe once every few days.

Once he began daycare at 8 weeks, he was bathed everyday!

Every night b/c its part of the routine. But honestly one night its just quick and the next night its a full bath and hair wash.

daily in the hot weather (he sweats alot) every other day in normal weather.
