How often, if ever, do you give your toddler tuna fish?

DD is 15 months and loves fish. She's tried a few bites of my tuna fish and seems to like it. I'd love to give it to her once in awhile—it would be nice to have another lunch option, but I'm nervous about the mercury. What's the recommendation for toddlers? Is it okay in moderation (how I eat it)?

I buy the chunk light in water and give it to my toddler only about 1 x month. More than that makes me nervous plus he doesn't love it. I believe though that you can safely give it 2 x month.

I would go by the rule when pregnant.
Once every 3 weeks I think it was.
I kept it to once a month while preggo and I'd feel ok giving it to DD once a month too
If she'd eat it that is...it's a form of protein so it's a NO GO for her!

Thanks! I gave her a little today, so now I'll hold off for a good while before I give it again.

Scroll down to the bottom for a chart. An adult can safely have chunk light tuna up to every 3 days. A toddler, about once every 2 or 3 weeks, depending on weight:

My DD#1 loves it DD#2 won't touch it. Since DD#1 is a picky eater and several food allergies I give it to her. I won't give it more than once a month.
