How old was DC #1 when you had #2?
DS just turned one and we decided it was a good time to start trying for another. I am a SAHM so it just makes sense for us, we don't have to worry about daycare etc. We also don't have anyone close to us with kids so it would be nice for Ryan to have a little friend close in age to play with.

DS was 3 mths short of turning 3 when DD was born. Its been a perfect age difference (based on 3 mths experience). DS has been a great helper and adores his sister.

Just about 3yrs 9months...
(I got my BFP 1 day before DS#1 turned 3)
I wasnt ready before that... Then one day my neighbor came home from the hospital with her new baby and it just hit me; IM READY...
I stopped taking my pill THAT DAY... and got pregnant that 1st month 
My DS#2 will be 2 in June; and I would like for DC#3 to be a little closer in age-but thats not in the budget for us right now (can't do the 2 in daycare ) so it actually looks like #2 and #3 will be further apart then #1 and #2

DS was 27 mnths when DS #2 was born.
I am currently going through a miscarriage, and only after getting pregnant did I realize how young DS#2 still is (he's only 16 months) so he would have been a month shy of 2 when this baby would have been born.
We now will wait a few months for him to get a touch older. I would like him to be closer to 2.5.
ETA: I will say, we started trying for our second son when our first turned a year, and it took 6 mnths for me to get pregnant.
