DS was 6 months. I just did a white bodysuit for him and we used a few props.

6 weeks. they came to our house. it was the same company that took the pictures in the hospital. it was really overpriced (i think), but i'm really glad we did it. when i look at those pictures i can't believe how little they were.
we just went to picture people on monday for halloween shots. i think that they came out awesome. i'm waiting for dh to scan them so i can post them.
i think you should do them asap-we need some more great photos of jack!!

DS was 3 months and I think I am going to take DD soon for Christening pictures. Then I did Christmas (DS was 8.5 months) and then 1 year. I will do the same for DD.
As far as clothes, if you decide to go with a button down I would get the onsie type from the Gap. If it is a typical buttondown for some reason it doesn't sit right and bunches up. (I have a white one if you want it in 6-12 months??).

Anthony was 2 1/2 months when I had his first professional pictures taken. I didnt put him in an outfit, JUST a diaper and tey were my favorite professional pictures! Image Attachment(s):

I have yet to have any professional pics taken of Lucas...but I want to do it for Christmas. I was looking through my pictures and DH's and we had so many professional pics when we were kids - I feel bad. On the other hand...we have better personal cameras now and take more pictures of our own than our parents did (that's how I make myself feel better  )
Since I have Halloween off I was thinking of making an appt for some pics for him. Then again in December if it's a good experience.

I had prof ones done at three months (the hospital people come to your house) those ones....haven't had any since then. Probably because he screamed the entire time.
I'm actually thinking about going Friday or Monday to have his 7 months done. Unfortunately I just have no time to bring him, but I have to make it....
