How old was your DC when they started preschool?
Jayde is 2.5 and I am considering it part time. I don't want it to be just babysitting though. DO you think 2.5 is too early to actually start learning in preschool?

My kids were 3 (July baby) or going on 3 (Oct baby). I dont think 2 1/2 is too young for a day or 2 a week. I would probably do 2 days if I was going to send a 2 1/2 year old.
Most of what they are doing is socialization in preschool anyway and I think a 2 1/2 year old is ready for that.

My DD started right at her 2nd birthday on Fridays for 2 hours. She's going to nursery school in Sept. (she'll be turning 3 that month) and that's 3 days a week for 3 hours a day.

I sent my son to nursery school at three and pre-k at four. He learned alot in nursery. However, it depends on where you.
