How old were you (or do you plan to be) when you had your first child?

I'm 28 and i'm feeling like (in the words of Marisa Tomei) "my biological clock is ticking like this *stomp stomp*"...for the girls who dont have kids yet, what age do you plan to start?

I am 29 and trying...so hopefully by 30 I will be a mommy!!!

I will be 40 when we start TTC..I never thought I would be this old but it just happened this way.

31 or 32. i am 29 now.

I was 31 (my son is a month old tomorrow)

I was 25.

We weren't planning on it for several years - even birth control is only 99% effective

I was thinking I'd like to be pregnant around the time I turned 30. My family has a history of a lot of later-age childbearing. My Grandmother didn't start until she was 28 (which for then was older), my mother was 36, my cousin was 38.

Anyway I couldn't be happier with my son. I love him so much. But I also think maybe I would have been more ready for him at 30 - we don't even have a bedroom for him to grow into !!!

Got pg at 28, had her at 29.

id like to be 28-30.

anthony would want one next year which would make me 25-26.

Im not ready at all yet. And i plan on being a little different from the rest of my family which had their 1st baby between ages 18-22.

I'll be 36.

I'm really glad it worked out this way. I think, for me, I'm much calmer now than I would have been had I become a mom in my 20's.

I got pg with my first when I was 28, had her when I was 29.

I am 29 and don't really feel at all ready yet (financially, emotionally, relationship-wise).

However, I do get nervous when I read the boards and see girls having problems trying to get pregnant and saying they wish they had started trying sooner. (tick tick tick...)

hopefully within a year or so after marriage so 30-31 since i am getting married next year.
