How old were you when you found out about sex??

I was in first grade
my friend had a book about sexual intercourse and sperm and all the technical terms it was so confusing so I went home and ask my mom to explain it to me and she CRIED!!!!!!!

OMG- fifth grade

we were out for my B-day and someone mentioned a condom and I had NO CLUE what it was...well I found it ALL out....lol

Probably when I first read the book Forever (I got it from one of my friends of course) in about fifth grade.

I think I was pretty young. My sister was in nursing school so she had anatomy books all around all the time and my grandmother had this really old parenting book on her shelp and there was a whole section about sex, so I read that, b/c I read everything. I probably didn't really udnerstand it until I was 10 or 11 though.

I don't even remember! But I know it was either on tv, or from friends, because my mom NEVER spoke to me about the "birds & the bees".

I knew the biological aspect of reproduction in 5th grade, but I never knew HOW Mr. Sperm got to visit Ms. Egg until 7th grade.

My parents NEVER let me watch or read anything sex-related ---- Mom confiscated "Forever" when I got it from the school library!

My parents tried to do the sit down thing with me when I was about 15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just nonchaalntely said "I learned all that in school" (not true..well in school, but not form teachers) and left the room

I was 8 - i accidently saw some show on PBS - which was actually the same thing they showed us in 7th grade.

Ha Ha!! We had a sorta family book about boys and girls and sex. My aunt used it for her kids, then passed it on to my mom, then my mom passed it to my other aunt. It was pretty funny. My faced turned BRIGHT RED when my mom took out "the book". I guess I was about 11.

I think I learned about it when I was about 12. Then I went to sleepaway camp and learned a LOT more!

I remember the other girls knew a lot more than me, and would make up funny song lyrics using sexual terms. I was too embarrassed to ask them what things meant, b/c I didn't want to seem like a baby. When I came home, I asked my mom what a blow job and masturbation were! She was horrified!!!

ETA: We also read Forever out loud in our bunk that summer!

Okay, was that book everybody's sex education? I remember us girls passing it around in sixth grade. Love the book. I still cannot hear the name "Ralph" and keep a straight face.
